Carlos Fontelas De Carvalho has been General Manager of ADP in France since October 2016. With over 20 years’ experience in management and sales positions, his mission is to continue ADP’s development in the French and Swiss markets.
He joined ADP in 2013 as Vice President of the Major Accounts and Small Business Services division. He was responsible for implementation and client relations for companies with up to 3,000 employees. In this role, he led a major transformation of ADP’s activities in France, as well as a major operational reorganisation.
Prior to ADP, Carlos Fontelas De Carvalho was Vice President Operations at Avis Budget, for France and Benelux, after having held various positions in other European countries of the Group for 15 years. In particular, he developed his Marketing and Quality expertise with Six Sigma (a method for improving quality and efficiency) and NPS (Net Promoting Score – a tool for monitoring customer loyalty).
Carlos Fontelas De Carvalho holds a degree in economics from the Universidade Técnica de Lisboa. He joined the Portuguese army as an officer in logistics and automotive engineering. He began his professional career with KPMG as an accountant and auditor.
