Participant list sales scam
It has come to our attention that companies are contacting HR FESTIVAL exhibitors claiming to offer our delegate lists. This has unfortunately become a regular occurrence at large conferences and trade fairs in recent years.
ALMA Medien AG does not sell participant lists and does not authorise third parties to sell participant lists from events.
How did the fraudsters get hold of your e-mail address?
Software programs can scan websites looking for e-mail addresses. The email addresses are stored in the public exhibitor directory. The participant data is secured and cannot be stolen. Therefore, there are no accessible lists of participants.
If you receive an e-mail, do not reply to it. By replying, you confirm that your email address is valid. This may increase the likelihood that you will be contacted regularly. This also applies to the “unsubscribe” e-mail.
