Society is pursuing security more and more, the world should become more predictable, damage should be avoided. Technology can help to control risk in many areas; what remains is the source of error, i.e. humans. In this presentation, human risk is systematically addressed, its significance for organisations analysed and risk control measures are discussed.
Simon Carl Hardegger is the Head of the Center for Diagnostics, Traffic & Safety Psychology at the IAP Institute for Applied Psychology, ZHAW Zurich University of Applied Sciences. He studied psychology at the University of Zurich and afterwards worked for many years in security consulting. Today, his main focus is risk assessments of human factors in a professional context.
